We build a command
We often use a word "command" for any group of the people having something
general, for example, work or a kind of sports. Such inexact definition misses
true sense of a word "command".
The command is the group, created to work together. Let's disassemble the term
on a concrete situation: the command is formed on work to carry out any task or
to reach the certain result in the event that it is not enough one person for
this purpose. The command can be generated, when small group of people with
various knowledge gather for performance of the task or achievement of result,
in that case when one person cannot make it alone.
Meaning what has been written earlier how you will name greater group of people
on a workplace? The people working together is "society", that is, group of
people which have general interests, people who work in one place by the certain
rules. The labour will be named more correctly with "society", than a command.
Each person in a community has the purpose and the task, which it should execute
to help the organization with achievement of the purposes. Tasks are carried out
individually, and the result is expected too from the separate person.
But there are moments when one person cannot carry out the task or change
something because wider knowledge base is required. In such situation the
command is formed.
The orchestra is an excellent example of a command inside of a society. The
orchestra is a society which the wonderful piece of music is generated very well
to play. Many musicians put the talents in group to bring the contribution as
the person. Each part of an orchestra, for example, violinists, form a command
to carry out the certain problem in music. Each separate violinist works in
group, perfecting a separate fragment of product. Then all group plays the piece
of a piece of music.
The command is a small group of the people selected from the big society which
has the certain problem necessary to execute. As soon as the problem has been
executed, the command is not necessary any more, therefore ceases to exist.
The purpose of a management is to define, when it is necessary to create a
command. The command is a way to construct more effective business and to become
successful through your people.
